UK card maker allpay.cards has partnered with Simplex to launch a Visa debit card, according to a Simplex press release from July 26. The debit card will enable users to spend their cryptocurrency just as they do, and will work on any POS terminal where Visa cards are accepted, with transactions settled in fiat currencies.
“We are very excited to support Simplex by empowering their customers and users with the ability to spend cryptocurrency on their Visa debit cards,” said Emily Lovelock, Head of Sales at allpay.cards. “We worked closely with the team at Simplex to match their unique offerings with an innovative card design.”
allpay.cards, the leading card manufacturer in the British and European market, offers its users a complete physical card solution. Simplex’s upcoming Visa debit cards will feature a bespoke design with metallic green trim, custom lamination, and pearlescent inks.
Founded in 2014, Simplex is a European Union company that specializes in providing legal infrastructure to the crypto industry. The company pioneered the industry’s first global risk-free onramp with credit and debit cards and was among the first to offer a no-refundable guarantee. Simplex is also a major member of the Visa network.
